The Maverick RemoteCheck Wireless Thermometer and Timer is the perfect cooking tool for monitoring two separate foods at once or a large roast that may cook more quickly at one end than the other. Two six-inch probes are each connected to a 39-inch stainless steel wire and provide separate temperature readings.

Program options let you choose beef, veal, lamb, pork, chicken, or turkey and then select rare, medium-rare, medium, or well-done. The digital monitor then displays the corresponding temperature, which can be altered by pressing a button. To operate, simply insert the probe into the meat, run the wire from the oven and close the door. The wire plugs into the portable monitor, which tracks two cooking times and can be carried on your belt or in your pocket. An alarm sounds when food is done, giving you the freedom to set the table or prepare other foods without constantly checking the timer.
