The Maverick Digital Oil / Candy / Fryer Thermometer brings technology into the kitchen to take the guesswork out of candy making and deep-frying. Sugary concoctions and perfectly fried foods can be tough to gauge by sight. The only way to ensure perfect candy and frying results is to remove the ingredients from heat at just the right moment. The Maverick Digital Candy / Fryer Thermometer has 14 pre-programmed settings guided by user-friendly icons.

Sturdily built with a stainless-steel splatter/heat shield to protect the digital face, the thermometer features a large LCD monitor with cooking guide on the back. Readings can be displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, and the monitor beeps and flashes when ideal temperature is reached. The 8-inch pivoting probe clips onto the edge of your stock pot or saucepan, and cleans up easily with a soapy sponge.
