This unit features Nesco/American Harvest's innovative top mounted power head that dries food quickly and evenly with superior results. The power head detaches to make the dehydrator dishwasher-safe for easy clean up.
The top mounted fan forces air down the center of the unit and horizontally across each tray to dry fruits, vegetables and jerky evenly and quickly. This fan-flow technology dries food in hours, not days like ordinary food dehydrators, with the added benefits of no flavor mixing and no need to rotate trays. Opaque Vita-Save exterior blocks harmful light which destroys the
nutritional content of food being dehydrated. It
is packaged with five trays, and is expandable
to seven trays.
